Welcome to the website of Kings Forest Bowmen. The club is based several miles north west of Bury St Edmunds and has 3 permanent 14 target E.F.A.A. field archery courses. There is a club shoot, open to all E.F.A.A. members, on the first Sunday of each month. Please use the links on the left to navigate around the website.

News21/11/08 - IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Dear Members, If you arrive at the club during the week and the harvesting has started (the signs will be out at the gate) please do not enter the grounds. I will notify you when we can go up during the week again. Many thanks for your co-operation. Rosie 02/11/08 - With only having one course the December shoot this year will be an International round, there is no need to pre-book for this. 07/09/08 - Due to thinning of trees red and blue courses will be closed from the end of September, and there will be NO practising during the week in November only at weekends, a news letter will be sent out soon. 05/08/08 - Finally put some photos up from Namibia thanks to Zelda for this set, more to follow when they are processed. 04/05/08 - Kings Forest host the Spring and Team Championships, good weather leads to some new records, and Kings Forest won the Team Championships, results and photos to follow. 23/04/08 - Between the 7th and 12th April, 8 members of Kings Forest took part in the World Field Archery Championships, near Windhoek, Namibia. After a weeks tough archery in unforgiving terrain we came away with 4 champions, 2 silver and 3 bronze, Ron, Zelda and James were also in the England Champion of Nations Team who won Gold. 12/11/07 - New photos added to the gallery, thanks to Zelda 07/10/2007 - Kings Forest host Dot Southgate Memorial Shoot, Richard laid out another excellent course, (complete with trees that attack arrows and animals which refused to be killed). All of us who competed should thank those club members who gave up their time and shooting to keep us fed and watered, marshal us round the course, and find the arrows which fell out of our quivers. Results to follow soon 09/09/2007 - Amongst a collection of individual medals Kings Forest win the mixed team trophy at the Nationals hosted by White Mark Bowmen. See results for full listing.
