Founded in 1979 Kings Forest Bowmen is a thriving field archery club set within beautiful Suffolk woodland, just a few miles from Bury St Edmunds and Thetford. The club has around 170 members and can boast many World, European, UK and Nationals champions both past and present.
We have three permanent 14 target courses laid out within a stunning pine forest as well as a practice range. Access for club members is 24/7 all year round, plus there are official shoots, members’ nights and opportunities to partake in competitions around the world.
Kings Forest Bowmen host an open shoot on the first Sunday of each month to which any member of the English Field Archery Association or I.F.A.A. affiliated member can attend.

The 2017 AGM will be held at the club on Saturday 2nd December. The meeting is to commence at 2 pm prompt. All matters for inclusion on the agenda must have reached the secretary by the 22nd November 2017. Proposals to be put to the AGM must be in writing and bear the signature of both proposer and second, both must be adult members of the club, one of whom must attend the meeting.
For the election of officers at the AGM. All nominations, in writing, bearing the signatures of proposer, second and nominee, who must all be adult club members, of over 2 years standing, must reach the secretary by the 22nd November 2017. Officers are Chairman/Treasurer, Secretary, Course Manger, Club Coach, Web Master, and Classification Officer.

2017 Christmas Novelty Shoot
This years Christmas Novelty Shoot will take place on Sunday 3rd December starting at 10am. Hot food and beverages will be available all day. All entries are £3 and PRE-BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.
