Bowhunter Champs

The Bowhunter Champs was a great success even the weather did its best, well done to all that entered and a big thank you to all that made it possible.

It was a well laid out course with some challenging targets and fun so thanks to Dan, Rosie, Ron. Thanks to Christine and Alec for the catering and for those how helped with marshalling and car park duties ect without out your help holding events would not be possible.

More up dates from Forestry carrying out more engineering works Jonathan has sent emails out to all members please check as heavy equipment will be in use and travelling up and down road from Thursday 8th May white course and 50 to 80 Yards practice targets will be closed. weekends open as normal this is expected to last two weeks but may be longer so check emails.

We have been informed that the Forestry are to carry out engineering works which will affect our club therefore the club will be closed from Monday 28th April to Wednesday 30th

The club will hold a shoot on 4th May as many members have mentioned the won’t be going to the EFAA Spring Champs at Merlin this will be a combination round but no records, drinks available but possibly only cold rolls snacks will be available for lunch if this changes will update.

Happy new year    

Check your Diary  If you have checked the events page you will see that the EFAA Bowhunter Championships  are to be held at Kings Forest Bowmen on 31st May & 1st June this year, It would be great to see plenty of members attend and or help with putting the event on, There may be a work day required before holding this event to get club ready and look its best.
